Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief over the demise of Congress leader and former Union minister Eknathrao 'Balasaheb' Vikhe Patil. In his tweet last night, Mr Modi said Vikhe Patil was a mass leader whose work in agriculture, rural development, education & cooperatives will be remembered. <br/><br/>Vikhe Patil, 84, passed away at his residence in Loni village in Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra yesterday evening following prolonged illness. His last rites will be performed with full state honours at Loni today.<br/>
