Prime Minister Narendra Modi has condoled the death of Biju Janata Dal MP Kalpataru Das. In a tweet, Mr Modi said, he is pained to hear about the passing away of Rajya Sabha Member Kalpataru Das. He said that Das was actively involved in social work and was extremely passionate about Odisha's progress.<br/><br/>The Prime Minister also condoled the demise of former Governor of Bihar and Kerala RS Gavai. Mr Modi said that Gavai was a very experienced public figure and served as Governor of Bihar and Kerala. He said the country will always remember Gavai's contribution towards welfare of poor and marginalised.
