PM Modi calls upon people to rededicate themselves to fulfill Mahatama Gandhi's dream of clean India

<span style="color: #222222;">Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called upon the people to rededicate themselves to fulfill Mahatma Gandhi's dream of a clean India. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">In a tweet, Mr. Modi invited more people to join 'Swachhata Hi Sewa' movement launched by him across the country through video conferencing on Saturday. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Prime Minister also interacted with a cross-section of people across the country through video conferencing on the occasion. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Modi said, cleanliness is a habit that needs to be included in the daily routine. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Prime Minister said, the sanitation coverage in India has increased to over 90 per cent from 40 per cent four years ago as all sections of society and every part of the country have joined the movement. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said, very few people would have imagined that 9 crore toilets would be built and 4.5 lakh villages declared open defecation free in four years.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Modi said, due to Swachh Bharat Abhiyan the cases of diarrhoea have decreased considerably. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Prime Minister said, disposal of the garbage is very important and waste management has to be made more effective. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said, the Government is making serious efforts towards Waste to Wealth initiative. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Modi said, whenever it is written about this mass movement in the future, the names of the swachhagrahis will be written in the golden letters. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said, the whole world is closely watching this movement of the hundred and 25 million people towards cleanliness. </span>
