Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called a meet of NDA partners this evening on the eve of the Monsoon session of Parliament. <br/><br/>The meeting will discuss the strategy for the session as opposition parties, Congress and the Left have closed their ranks against government on various issues including Vyapam scam, and Lalit Modi controversy. <br/><br/>Earlier, Shiv Sena, an NDA ally, had demanded a meeting of allies saying the session will be a stormy affair and the BJP should take its partners into confidence to chalk out a strong strategy to counter the Opposition.<br/> <br/>While the BJP-led NDA commands a sizeable majority in the Lok Sabha, it lacks numbers in the Rajya Sabha where opposition holds the key to passage of important legislations, including Goods and Services Tax and Land bill. <br/><br/>BJP Parliamentary Party executive will also meet at Prime Minister's residence this evening to fine tune its strategy for the session.
