?In Uttar Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi severely criticised Congress party and its leaders for their negative politics. Addressing a rally in Sarurpur of Saharanpur today, he said that youth of the country have refused to accept the negative politics which Congress is continuously professing. He dubbed the 125 year old Congress Party 'a danger for democracy', saying its negative politics and policy of elimination of opponents has created a very negative atmosphere in the country. <br/><br/>Praising Mulayam Singh Yadav for his efforts to run the Parliament smoothly, PM said that despite being in opposition, Mr Yadav played a very positive role for the betterment of democracy. He suggested the Congress that it must sit and delve upon its colossal defeat and should think about why the people of the country have rejected them.<br/><br/>Making a direct attack on Congress leadership and their alleged 'Saamantwaadi Soch' , PM Modi said that Congress has taken it for granted that the throne of Delhi is meant only for them. PM said that Congress still could not come to terms with its massive defeat. He said that the centre has granted Rs 6,000 crore for the dues clearance of the Cane farmers of UP which will be credited to the bank accounts of the farmers directly and will not be given through Sugar Mills. He further said that his government's decision of 10% of Ethanol blending in the petrol is also benefiting the sugar cane producers though it was opposed by sugar lobby.
