Prime Minister Narendra Modi today attended the state level function to mark the 350th birth anniversary of tenth Sikh Guru Gobind Singh Ji at birth place of Khalsa Sri Anandpur Sahib of district Roopnagar.<br/> <br/>Addressing the gathering, Prime Minister informed that Govt of India is celebrating 350th Birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh Ji at national level. PM Modi said that he is feeling proud to announce that he is from the state of Gujarat from where Guru Gobind singh Ji chose one of the Punj Piaras. <br/><br/>He informed that Govt has arranged to provide railway facility for the people who want to go to Patna Sahib to participate in the Birth anniversary functions to be organized there. <br/><br/>PM Modi said that we should follow the path shown by Guru Gobind Singh Ji who sacrificed all his family fighting against injustice. He said Govt wants to spread the message of Guruji about Unity, peace and equality.<br/><br/>Before that PM Modi paid obeisance at Takhat Sri Kesgarh Sahib where he was presented a Sripao by the Jathedar of the Takhat.
