PM Modi asks BJP MPs to highlight govt's achievements

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has asked BJP MPs to campaign on the ongoing welfare schemes for people in view of his government completing two years of tenure at the Centre, later this month. <br/><br/>Minister of State of Parliamentary Affairs Rajeev Pratap Rudy quoted the Prime minister having said after BJP Parliamentary Party meeting in New Delhi today that Mr Modi said people should be aware of such schemes which are pro-common man initiatives. <br/><br/>Mr Rudy said the Prime Minister maintained that the commitment that his government had made to the people, has been fulfilled. During the course of two years, the government has launched schemes like Jan Dhan Yojana, MUDRA and Beti Bachao Beti Padaho to empower the people. The present government was sworn in on 26th of May 2014.<br/><br/>The BJP Parliamentary Party's meeting was attended by the Union Ministers including Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu, party president Amit Shah and several BJP leaders.
