The Prime Minister Narendra Modi today reached Berlin for a stopover while going to attend BRICS summit in Brazil. He was received by Indian Ambassador to Germany Mr Vijay Gokhale and senior officials of German government. Shri Modi has no programme in Berlin today and he will leave for Fortaleza, Brazil tomorrow in the morning. PM will reach Fortaleza in the afternoon tomorrow where he is scheduled to have bilateral meet with Chinese president Xi Jinping and Russian president Mr Vladimir Putin on the same day. The BRICS Summit will be held on 15th and 16th of July in the cities of Fortaleza and Brasilia, where the Prime Minister will be having a hectic schedule.

Huge screens have been set up in public places, parks and stadia. People are euphoric about their national team playing football world cup final today. German chancellor Angela Markel is also in Brazil to boost the morale of the German team.
