Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced an ex-gratia of two lakh rupees for the next of kin of each deceased in the tragic cylinder mishap in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The ex-gratia has been announced from the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund. The Prime Minister in a tweet said that the injured would also  be given  50 thousand rupees each. 32 people were killed and 50 injured in a the cylinder explosion at Bhungra village in the Shergarh subdivision on 8th of December.<br />
