Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President are now visiting capital complex in Chandigarh.This part was specially designed by Le Courbusier and it houses civil secretariate of Punjab and Haryana governments, Vidhan Sabha building and high court with Shivalik hills in the backdrop. They also visited the open hand monument which was installed when Chadigarh 's creation started. This is first visit of any foreign state of head to Chandigarh.
