PM Modi and Chienese Prez Xi Jinping hold delegation level talks

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping held delegation level talks on bilateral issues this afternoon.

External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin said, the two leaders had a comprehensive and lengthy discussion on all sensitive issues of concern during the talks. He said the talks were productive. The Prime Minister Modi told the Chinese leader that the two countries can start a new era in their relations.

India and China have signed 12 agreements in various fields like railways and entertainment. The two sides have decided to expand cooperation in cultural institutions drugs administration and peaceful uses of outer space.

An MoU on opening route for Kailash Mansarovar was also signed. Another agreement was signed for audio-visual co-production between Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and its Chinese counterpart.
