Senior Cabinet Ministers Pranab Mukherji, Kapil Sibal and P. Chidambaram are now meeting the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh at his residence to discuss the situation arising out of Baba Ramdev's proposed fast from Saturday in New Delhi. The Cabinet Secretary Mr. K. M. Chandrasekhar and Delhi Chief Secretary are also believed to be present in the meeting. The top congress leaders will again meet Baba Ramdev on Friday to discuss the issues flagged off by the yoga guru. Earlier in the day, four union ministers including Pranab Mukherjee met Yoga guru Swami Ramdev on his arrival in Delhi. HRD Minister Kapil Sibal, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal and Tourism Minister Subodh Kant Sahay discussed a host of issues relating to corruption during the two and a half hours long meeting with Swami Ramdev at Delhi airport. Later, talking to media the Yoga guru said, talks were positive and there was agreement on some of the issues. First round of talks was positive. There were agreements on some of the issues. Unless there is cent per cent agreement on all important issues and till we reach some conclusion, this agitation will continue. The government discussed the matter with the desired seriousness. Earlier, briefing the media, HRD Minister Kapil Sibal said, Baba Ramdev raised exceptionally serious issues. AIR correspondent reports that the meeting comes a day after Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh appealed to the Yoga Guru to call off his proposed fast.
