PM meets President ahead of NDA govt's cabinet expansion

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is attending Gurbani function at Rashtrapati Bhavan organised on the occasion of Guru Nanak's birthday. Mr Modi's meeting with President Pranab Mukherjee is also being seen in the context of impending Cabinet expansion.

The NDA government is expected to have new ministers including Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar, former Congress leader from Haryana, Chaudhary Birendra Singh, BJP General Secretary Jagat Prakash Nadda and former Union Minister Suresh Prabhu. It will be the first expansion of the Modi government since it came to power in May.
