PM meets his Pakistani counterpart on sidelines of SAARC Summit in Thimphu

The meeting between Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and his Pakistani counterpart Yousaf Raza Gilani, has begun in Thimpu. The meeting between both the leaders is taking place on the sidelines of the SAARC Summit in Thimpu. <br/>Earlier, the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh had a meeting with the Nepali Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal. Dr. Singh has suggested to the Nepali Prime Minister to seek a consensus approach to end the current political crisis in Nepal for a successful conclusion of the peace process and draft the new constitution.<br/> Talking to newsmen after a meeting with Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh in Thimphu today on the sidelines of SAARC Summit, the Nepalese Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal said India has expressed hope that parties in Nepal will be able to forge unity for timely writing of the constitution and concluding the peace process. Dr. Singh also stressed for establishing democratic culture, peace and stability in Nepal. <br/> Prime Minister Madhav Nepal reportedly informed the Indian Prime Minister that he is committed to conclude the peace process and write a new constitution by forging consensus and cooperation among the political parties and blamed the Maoists for creating obstacles in by refusing to abide by past agreements.<br/>
