Making a statement after meeting his Pakistan counterpart, Yusuf Raza Gilani on the sidelines of the SAARC Summit, Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh said that the bilateral talks between India and Pakistan which had started at Thimpu, have yielded positive results and the two countries will continue the process. He said that we have lost a lot of time in acrimonious debates and the time has come to move forward.
The Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani also agreed that the next round of talks will be far more constructive and will open a new chapter in the Indo-Pak history. He thanked the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh for his support in getting Pakistan a seat in the United Nation’s Security Council and also in getting it an access to the European Union Market.
