PM, Li hold talks on crucial issues; delegation level talks tomorrow

Chinese Premier Li Keqiang had talks with his Indian counterpart Dr. Manmohan Singh on all crucial bilateral issues within hours of his arrival today at the Prime Minister's residence.
The talks took place during the dinner hosted by Dr. Singh in the honour of Chinese Delegation.

Accompanied by a high level delegation, China Premier Li Keqiang on Sunday arrived in New Delhi on a three day offcial visit to the country.

He will also hold delegation-level talks with Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh tomorrow.

Key international, regional and bilateral issues including boundary, river waters and market access under economic ties are likely to figure during the talks.

AIR Correspondent reports that this is Mr. Li's first visit abroad after assuming the office of premier in March.

The visiting dignitary will call on President Pranab Mukherjee at Rashtrapati Bhawan on Tuesday before leaving for Mumbai.

The Chinese Premier will address a business meeting of the Captains of Indian Business and Industry in Mumbai.
