A three-member committee headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet tomorrow to select the CBI Director. The post is lying vacant for over a month following retirement of Anil Sinha. At present, Gujarat-cadre IPS officer Rakesh Asthana is the interim Director of the investigating agency. <br/> <br/>The selection committee has Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge and Chief Justice of India. Reports say, a list of about eligible IPS officers has been sent to PMO for consideration as next CBI Director.
