PM, Khaleda agree to cooperate in combating terror

Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and Bangladesh Opposition leader Begum Khaleda Zia agreed to cooperate in combating terrorism and insurgent groups with the visiting dignitary assuring that she and her party will not allow her country to be used for anti-India acts. Begum Zia, who is on a three day visit to India, called on Dr Singh and held discussions on a variety of issues including bilateral matters, including border management.

Begum Khaleda Zia was very appreciative of various Indian initiatives which had been taken by the Prime Minister including liberalization of trade and efforts to provide power.
