PM inaugurates Civil Terminal at Hindon airport, Metro projects in Lucknow & Ghaziabad

<span style="color: #222222;">Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Hindon Airport Civil Terminal in Ghaziabad this evening. After inaugurating the terminal, Mr Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of multiple projects. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">It includes inauguration of Dilshad Garden – Shaheed Sthal Section of Delhi Metro Red Line and foundation stone laying of Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System RRTS.<br />''</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Later, Mr Modi travelled on the metro from Shaeed Sthal station to Kashmere Gate. He also interacted will the passengers.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Speaking on the occasion, Mr Modi said, the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System, RRTS will give a new dimension to Next Generation Urban Infrastructure in the country. He said, it will be the first RRTS of the country being built at a cost of 30 thousand crore rupees. He added that both Rapid Rail and Metro trains will run in this system.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Prime Minister said, to modernize road traffic, the foundation stone has been laid for Northern Peripheral Master Plan Road and Outer Ring Road today.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said, when the projects will be completed then the vehicles coming from Delhi will not need entry in the city of Ghaziabad and will reduce the pressure on traffic. </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Modi said, in line with the hopes and aspirations of the middle class, his government is working with complete dedication to develop this type of infrastructure in different cities of the country. He said, be it Metro or RRTS or Ring Roads are being prepared for cities across the country for the coming decades.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Prime Minister also inaugurated and laid foundation stone of various development projects. He said that the defence corridor which has just started in state will benefit a lot to Kanpur.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said that many projects worth thousand crore rupees which are launched today will propel industrialisation and develop the city and along with making it clean.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR correspondent reports that PM Modi laid foundation stone for Agra Metro Rail Project today. The Metro network in Agra will cover 30 km area of the city and will run on two routes.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The project is scheduled to be completed in five years. PM also inaugurated the second phase of Lucknow Metro Rail Project which is 23 kilometers long having 21 stations out of which 4 are underground.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Modi flaged-off Metro Rail from Chaudhary Charan Singh Airport Station of Lucknow metro through video link. On this occasion Union Minister of state for Tourism and Urban Development, Hardeep Singh Puri was present in Lucknow with other state ministers.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">PM also laid foundation stone for establishment of new 660 megawatt electricity generation and distribution unit of Panki Power Plant and distributed keys to beneficiaries of Pradhanmantri Aawas Yojna.</span><br />''<br />''
