Prime Minister Narendra Modi has inaugurated the 2nd Power Generation Unit at Palatana Thermal Power Plant at Gomati district in Tripura. The Unit Two, having an installed generation capacity of 363.3 Megawatt, is likely to start commercial production by January end next. The Prime Minister will leave for New Delhi from Agartala this evening.
