The Prime Minister Narendra Modi has handed over the reinstatement certificate of Indian barrister and nationalist leader Shyamji Krishna Verma to Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel at a brief ceremony held at Bhuj Air force station. Addressing the gathering, Mr. Modi said that he is fortunate to get this opportunity to take the reinstatement certificate of great freedom fighter and son of soil. <br/><br/>Prime Minister said that the life of Krantiguru Shyamji Krishna Verma will inspire to the people of the country in time to come. He said that it is proud thing that more than 15 lakh people have visited the memorial of Pandit Shyamji Krishna Verma –Krantitirth at Mandvi port in Kutch. Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel also praised the efforts taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for taking back this pride for the people of Kutch and Gujarat.<br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports that Shyamji Krishna Verma was barred from one of Britain's leading law society for advocating independence for India over a century ago. This certificate will be kept at 'Kranti Tirth', a memorial of Shyamji Krishna Verma built in the port town of Mandvi in Kutch, where Shyamji Krishna Verma was born in 1857.
