Prime Minister Narendra Modi has greeted people of Bihar on the occasion of Bihar Diwas, the state's foundation day. The Day marks the formation of the state of Bihar and is observed every year on 22nd March. It was on this day when the British carved out the state from Bengal Presidency in 1912.<br/><br/>The Bihar Diwas is being celebrated today with enthusiasm throughout the state. The Formation of Constitution of the State of Bihar has completed 104 years after separation of joint province. Various programmes have been organised in all districts of the state to mark Foundation Day. Government buildings have been decorated and cultural programme have been organised. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar would inaugurate two-days function from today in the State capital. <br/><br/>The theme of the celebrations includes empowering youth, reservation of women in jobs, regular electricity and water supply, development of roads, toilet facilities in every households and more opportunities for people.
