The Prime minister Dr. Manmohan Singh has greeted the nation on the ocassion of Onam. In his message, Dr Singh said the festival is a joyous tribute to farmers and inspires to cherish our environment. He said the harvest season is an ocassion to celebrate the splendour and bounty bestowed by nature. The Prime minster wished the festival may bring joy, peace and prosperity to all.
