<span style="color: #222222;">Union Minister Piyush Goyal on Wednesday said that the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana has ensured that no household lacked of food during the COVID-19 pandemic.<br />''<br />'' Briefing media in New Delhi, he said, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, five kilograms of food grains per month are being provided to 80 crore countrymen free of cost as part of the scheme. <br />''<br />''Mr. Goyal said, one thousand lakh metric tonnes of food grains have been delivered to the poor people in 25 months of pandemic. He added that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has shown his sensitivity towards the poor and commitment to the welfare of the weaker sections of society through this move.<br />''<br />''The Minister also said, the 'One Nation – One Ration Card' was a vision of the Prime Minister which helped provide rations to beneficiaries in different parts of the country. </span><br />
