Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief over the death of his spiritual guru Swami Dayanand Saraswati. In a tweet, Mr Modi said, Swami Dayanand Saraswati was a powerhouse of knowledge, spirituality and service and his demise is a personal loss for him. <br/><br/>The Prime Minister said, his thoughts are with the countless people inspired by Swami Dayanand Saraswati and he prays that the spiritual leader's soul attains eternal peace. <br/><br/>The spiritual leader passed away at his Ashram in Rishikesh yesterday after prolonged illness. He was 87. On the 11th of this month, Mr Modi had paid a visit to Swami Dayanand at his ashram to enquire about his health.
