Prime Minister Modi has expressed gratitude to the Emir of Qatar, Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani for pardoning several prisoners, including 23 Indians, at the beginning of holy month of Ramadan. In a tweet, Mr Modi said, as a special gesture to mark the start of Ramadan, the Government of Qatar released 23 prisoners, who will return to India. He expressed his deepest gratitude to the Emir of Qatar for the gesture.
