Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that he is distressed by the loss of lives due to a van getting electrocuted in Sitalkuchi, West Bengal. In a tweet, Mr Modi expressed condolences to the bereaved families. He hoped that the injured will recover soon. The Prime Minister said that an ex-gratia of two lakh rupees each from Prime Minister's National Relief Fund would be given to the next of kin of the deceased.
