PM discusses Tamil Nadu flood situation with cabinet colleagues

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today took stock of the flood situation in Tamil Nadu and discussed it with his cabinet colleagues. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu said in the Lok Sabha that Mr. Modi held meeting with him , Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and discussed the flood situation. He said the Ministers exchanged information on the situation during the meeting. <br/><br/> Mr. Naidu said, the Prime Minister had also spoken to state Chief Minister Jayalalithaa yesterday and assured her all possible support and cooperation from the Centre. Meanwhile, Home Minister is chairing a high-level meeting to discuss the flood situation. Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar and Commerce Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and others were also present in the meeting.
