External Affairs Ministry today said Prime Minister Narendra Modi discussed peace, security and stability in the region during his bilateral talks with visiting ASEAN leaders. <br/><br/>Briefinga media in New Delhi this evening, Secretary (East) in the Ministry Preeti Saran said, discussion with Vietnamese leader focused on defence and maritime cooperation. She said, counter terrorism, drug trafficking, capacity building was main point of discussion between India and Phillipines. <br/><br/>Ms Saran said, during bilaterals, each leader appreciated Prime Minister's speech at Davos. Smart cities, cashless economy were part of discussion with Singapore. <br/><br/>Prime Minister Modi discussed enhancing connectivity, defence exercise with Thailand Prime Minister. During leaders' retreat, Prime Minister spoke about India's rich maritime traditions.
