Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh has directed Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy to constantly monitor flood situation in the state and extend all possible assistance for relief and rehabilitation. Dr Singh called the Chief Minister and offered central help for the flood-affected areas. The Prime Minister also sympathised with the family members of those who lost their lives in Srikakulam, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari and Krishna districts.
