PM didn't mention about appointment of judges in I-Day speech, CJI Thakur disappointed

Chief Justice of India T S Thakur today expressed disappointment that the Prime Minister did not make any mention about appointment of judges in his Independence Day address.<br/><br/>Speaking at a function in New Delhi, Chief Justice said the Prime Minister should also think about justice for the countrymen apart from doing every thing for removing poverty and creating employment. <br/><br/>Justice Thakur said the workload of courts has multiplied manifold , making it difficult to deliver speedy justice. On the occasion, Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad was also present.<br/>
