PM dedicates India's first ICTT to nation

Prime Minister today dedicated India's first International Container Transshipment Terminal, ICTT, at Vallarpadam in Kerala, to the nation. The first phase of the terminal, constructed at a cost 1600 crore rupees, has state of the art container handling facilities and a 600 meter quay length to accommodate large vessels. The ICTT will reduce the country's dependence on foreign ports for transshipment of containers.
