A meeting on BT Brinjal was held at the residence of the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh on Wednesday evening. <br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports that the meeting has been convened following concerns on the moratorium announced by the Environment Minister, Jiaram Ramesh.T he Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar, Science and Technology minister Mr. Prithvi Raj Chavan were also present in the meeting. <br/><br/>Earlier Mr. Pawar had written a letter to the Prime Minister seeking clarification on the authority responsible for granting general clearance to genetically modified crops
