Prime Minister Narendra Modi has condoled the demise of senior BJP leader and former Rajya Sabha member from Gujarat Jayantibhai Barot. In a tweet, PM Modi said, Mr Barot was a long time colleague who devoted his life in the service of Gujarati people. <br/><br/>Jayantibhai Barot, 75, passed away this morning after a prolonged illness. Mr Barot was ex-chairman of Gujrat Housing Board and former Chairman of Gujarat Backward Classes Development Corporation.
