Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called upon the people of Jammu and Kashmir to connect with the priceless culture of Sufism in the state. <br/><br/>Addressing a rally at Batal Balina in Udhampur district, Mr Modi said, our future will be pushed into darkness if the priceless culture of Sufism is forgotten in the state. He said, Kashmir was the pride of India and people should connect with its culture and civilization to make themselves proud. <br/><br/>He said people of Kashmir should work shoulder-to-shoulder with the government for their bright future. Prime Minister reiterated Atal Bihari Vajpayee's doctrine of Kasmiriyat, Insaniyat and Jamuriyat for securing peace and prosperity in the state.<br/><br/>He said, Centre is fully committed to provide every possible help for peace and development of Jammu and Kashmir. <br/><br/>He said tourism, not terrorism will change the destiny of the state. He said, terrorism for the past 40 years has only caused bloodshed in the state. He urged the youth to take benefit of the schemes of Centre and state for skill development and education. <br/><br/>Earlier Prime Minister dedicated to the nation the Chenani-Nashri Tunnel. The all-weather route reduces the distance between Jammu and Kashmir by 31 kilometers. Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra and Chief Minister of J&K Mehbooba Mufti were also present on the occasion. <br/><br/>Prime Minister said that Tunnel is symbolic of a ushering of a new era of development in the state. <br/><br/>He said it is not just the longest tunnel, it is not just a tunnel to brige the gap between Jammu and Kashmir. But, it is a tunnel that brings development to Jammu and Kashmir. He said, the tunnel will now facilitate uninterrupted travel to Kashmir in all seasons. <br/>
