Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called upon technology experts to make Hindi and other Indian languages more technology friendly. Inaugurating the Tenth World Hindi Conference in Bhopal today, he asked them not to wait for developing new software and Apps in Hindi and other local languages. <br/><br/>He said that language is going to become a big market in the coming days. Mr. Modi said that Hindi will be one of the three most influential languages of digital age along with Chinese and English. The Prime Minister said that it is responsibility of all to make Hindi prosperous. <br/><br/>Remembering Subhash Chandra Bose, Balgangdhar Tilak and others, Mr. Modi said that most of the agitations for Hindi were launched by those whose mother tongue was not Hindi. He suggested that other Indian languages should be written in Nagri script along with their original scripts. <br/><br/>He also suggested that the combined workshops should be organized of Hindi and other Indian languages and there should be exchange of words among them. He said that each state has a treasure of its own language and there is a need to link these treasures. <br/><br/>Mr. Modi released a special stamp on this occasion. He also released three books. Union ministers Sushma Swaraj, Ravishankar Prasad, Harshwardhan, V K Singh and Kiren Rijuj, governors of West Bengal, Goa and Madhya Pradesh and chief ministers of Madhya Pradesh and Jharkhand were also present at the inaugural function.
