The Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh on Wednesday called on the President Mrs. Pratibha Devisingh Patil at Rashtrapati Bhawan. According to a Rashtrapati Bhawan communiqu’, during the 40 minute meeting, they discussed the ongoing budget session of the Parliament and issues related to the JPC, measures to check price rise, food security, internal security and the current situation in the Arab world. The two leaders also discussed various other issues of national and international importance.
