The Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh today called on the President Mrs Pratibha Devisingh Patil at Rashtrapati Bhawan in the national capital. According to the Rashtrapati Bhawan comunique,the meeting lasted for about 40 minutes . The two leaders discussed the just concluded Budget Session of Parliament, the state of the economy and political situation. Dr Singh also briefed the President about his forthcoming visit to Myanmar begining tomorrow.
