Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh today called on President Pratibha Patil and discussed US President Barack Obama's visit to the country from tomorrow. An official statement said that Prime Minister also briefed her about his recent three-nation tour of Japan, Malaysia and Vietnam and the India-ASEAN and East Asia Summit. The two leaders discussed matters related to the winter session of Parliament which is scheduled to start on November 9. Dr Singh, who was accompanied by his wife Gursharan Kaur, also greeted the President on the occasion of Diwali.
