The Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh called on the President Mrs Pratibha Devisingh Patil at the Rashtrapati Bhawan in New Delhi yesterday. According to the Rashtrapati Bhawan comunique, the meeting lasted for about 40 minutes. The two leaders discussed the just concluded Budget Session of Parliament, the state of the economy and political situation in the country.
