PM assures full support for faster development of J&K

The Prime minister Dr Manmohan Singh assured full support from centre to the efforts of state government for faster development of Jammu and Kashmir. <br/><br/>The assurance came during a marathon meeting the Prime minister had with senior officers of state to review developmental scenario in the valley. Dr Singh lauded the efforts of states youngest chief minister Omer Abdullah for faster trajectory of development in the state. <br/><br/>The chief minister himself gave a PowerPoint presentation to the Prime minister on the status of various on going projects and shames. During the two day visit to valley Prime minister met more than twenty delegations from mainstream political organisations. <br/><br/>Social and trade associations are the main focus of these meetings was strengthening of peace process and ensure rapid envelopment. Dr Singh while addressing convocation of Sher- e -Kashmir Agriculture University had renewed offer of dialogue with all those groups who oppose violence. <br/> <br/><br/>He also reiterated to carry forward dialogue with Pakistan to reduce trust deficit. He also announced Rs 1oo crore special grant for the university. Prime Minister concluded his two day visit to Jammu and Kashmir yesterday.<br/>
