The Prime Minister has asserted that terror machine exists in Pakistan and Islamabad should take more effective action to curb the activities of terrorists groups, which target India. Dr. Manmohan Singh, who is back home from Dar-es-salem after completing his six day visit to Africa, was talking to newsmen on board the special aircraft. He said, India must convince Pakistan through bilateral negotiations that it is in their own interest that they must tackle the problem of terror in the region. Referring to the recent attacks in Pakistan, he said these events worry India. On the disclosure of David Headley in US Court, he said there is nothing new in it. Dr. Singh said the basic agenda of the UPA remains to accelerate the tempo of economic growth to 9 to 10 per cent and also to ensure that the benefits reach all sections of society. He said increase in investment in education, health, rural development and agriculture are key priorities of the government. On possible next cabinet reshuffle , Dr. Singh said he will apply his mind to it. Replying to a question, the Prime Minister said the DMK is UPA's partner as of now and there is no change in it. He said the CBI is investigating the 2G scam and it would not be proper for him to make any comment as the matter is in the court.
