Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh on Friday asked the Madhya Pradesh Government to take action against officials responsible for lapses in implementation of Central schemes. Addressing a meeting of Congress workers in Bina in Madhya Pradesh he said several complaints have been received about the implementation of Central schemes like NREGA in the BJP-ruled state. He said the conditions in under-developed Bundelkhand are not good. The backward region had not been adequately developed over the years, he said.
