Prime Minister Narendra Modi has asked Minister of State in PMO Jitendra Singh to monitor the ongoing repair and restoration works of the Jagmohan, which faces the sanctum sanctorum of the Jagannath Temple in Puri. <br/><br/>The PM's directive came yesterday after a four-member Odisha BJP leaders met Mr Modi and apprised him about the slow pace of repair and restoration works in Puri Jagannath temple. After the direction of the Prime Minister, a meeting was convened at the office of the Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan in Delhi where Union Culture Minister Mahesh Sharma and three BJD MPs were present. Mr. Sharma said all possible measures would be taken to expedite the ongoing repair and restoration of the Jagmohan.
