The Prime Minister has asked the police force to deal with terrorism, Naxalism, regionalism and communalism with a great deal of efficiency, commitment and a sense of equity and fair play. Addressing IPS probationers at his residence in New Delhi on Tuesday, the Prime Minister said, one must never forget that they are dealing with their own people. Reflecting that fundamentally the law and order situation in the country is under strain, he said, all these four areas are of great concern and it has to be ensured that they are not allowed to harm the unity and integrity of the country.<br/>
