Prime Minister Narendra Modi today asked industrialists to change their mindset about labourers and treat them with respect. Speaking at the inauguration of Indian Labour Conference in New Delhi, Mr Modi said unless there is a feeling of togetherness between labourers and industrialists, no enterprise can prosper. <br/><br/>Expressing confidence that his government will be able to bring in reforms, the Prime Minister said his effort will be to simplify laws so that even the poor are able to understand their rights and avail them. <br/><br/>He said industrialists should encourage their labourers to become entrepreneurs and not keep them in same job for decades. Expressing disappointment that India has only 30 lakh apprentices, he asked the corporate houses to hire more apprentices as part of social responsibility
