Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh arrived in Hanoi on Thursday evening on a three day official visit to Vietnam. He was accorded a warm welcome at the Noi Bai airport. Dr. Singh will participate in the 8th India-ASEAN summit which began today and the 5th East Asia Summit to be held day after tomorrow. Dr. Singh will also have a series of bilateral talks with countries like China, Vietnam and Australia during his two day stay in Hanoi. The Union Minister for Commerce Mr. Anand Sharma who is accompanying the Prime Minister will have a bilateral meeting with his Singaporean counterpart on Thursday evening.
