PM arrives in Bangkok on two-day visit to Thailand

Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh has arrived in capital Bangkok on his two-day official visit to Thailand this afternoon. He was received by the Thai Chief Protocol Officer along with Anil Wadhwa, Indian Ambassador to Thailand and other officials at Don Muang airport in Bangkok. Our correspondent reports that in Bangkok Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh will stay in a hotel situated on the banks of river Siphaya-Pier. On the way to this hotel colourful hoardings, welcoming Prime Minister Dr. Singh have been put on roadsides at some places. A high level delegation accompanying the Prime Minister will hold talks on different bilateral issues with their Thai counterparts. After signing of some agreements, a joint statement will be issued in the evening. External Affairs Minister Salman Khursheed has also arrived in Bangkok.
