Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived at Gurugram on the outskirts of Delhi to attend the golden jubilee celebrations of formation of Haryana State.<br/><br/>The state was created on 1st of November 1966.<br/><br/>During the event, Mr. Modi will launch year-long Swarna Jayanti celebrations of the state. He is also expected to make important announcements on the occasion. <br/><br/>Yesterday, the State Government had announced welfare measures for various sections of the society including unemployed post-graduates, ex-Servicemen and those drawing social security pensions. <br/><br/>Security has been tightened in the city in view of the mega event.
