Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh today exuded confidence that Parliament will transact financial and other business in the remaining part of the Budget session.
The government, Dr. Singh said, is willing for a debate on any issue.
Terming as very important part the second half of the Budget session, he said, there are also important Bills like the Food Security Bill, Land Acquisition Bill which require to be passed.
The Prime Minister was talking to reporters outside Parliament House. He requested the Opposition members to let the government function and expressed hope that everybody will cooperate.
In reply to a question on the survivability of the government, the Prime Minister said he was ‘very confident that the financial business will be transacted to our satisfaction.’
